Toyota Etios Cross: Born With Attitude

Toyota has launched the new Etios Cross. To begin with, Toyota has taken the Liva Hatchback and added a body kit, roof rails and other trims to make it look rugged and outdoorsy.

Exteriors:

The Etios Cross features a matte black side cladding on the doors and the wheel arches giving it a wide and rugged stance. The front Grille, Guard and Fog Lamps are nicely integrated on the front. The roof rails, Blacked out B Pillar and the Diamond Cut Alloy wheels, rear roof spoiler and the badging at the rear help differentiate the Etios Cross for the competition.

Interiors:

The Piano Black Theme on the inside is comfortable and plush. The Seats get the Etios Cross Badging in stitch.

The driver seat is height adjustable and so are the front and rear headsets. The electronic power steering can be tilt adjusted. Audio controls are mounted on the steering wheel for easy access.

A 12V power outlet allows you keep your devices charged on the go and the 13L cooled glove box keeps you beverages cool.

Engine:

Buyers get a choice of three engine options.

The 1.2L Petrol engine delivers 80 PS of power and 104 Nm Torque with a fuel efficiency of 17.71 kmpl.

The 1.5L Petrol engine churns out 90 PS of power and 132 Nm Torque and gives 16.78 kmpl.

The 1.4L Diesel engine is the most frugal of the lot. It delivers 68 PS Power, 170 Nm Torque and gives 23.59 kmpl.

Safety:

The Etios Cross gets dual airbags in the front, ABS with EBD, keyless entry and safety alerts ( Driver Seat Belt, Door Ajar, Parking Brake and Headlamp on)

The four variants available are the 1.2 Petrol G, the 1.5 Petrol V, the 1.4 Diesel GD and the 1.4 Diesel VD.

The price range starts at Rs. 5.76 Lakh for the 1.2 Petrol G and tops out at Rs. 7.4 Lakh for the 1.4 Diesel VD.
