HYUNDAI XCENT

The Hyundai Xcent has been launched with the tag line “The real family sedan”. The Xcent has a price range of Rs. 4.66 – 7.42 lakhs (ex Delhi).

Exterior:

The chrome grille, fog lights on the sides and swept back headlights give the Xcent a smooth flowing design. The Led turn indicators add style along with safety.

On the sides the Xcent has chrome door handles and a handy waistline moulding to prevent scratches to the body.

The wraparound tail lamps and the micro roof antenna nicely add to the design.

The Xcent comes with 14-inch alloy wheels with the option of choosing 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.

Interiors:

The Xcent gets bucket seats in the front. The centre console has a storage space with a connection for charging mobiles and other devices along with and aux in. There is also a 1gb drive where you can store your favourite music.

The steering wheel mounted controls handle the audio as well as Bluetooth hands free functions.

Tilt steering and driver seat adjustment ensure that the Xcent is comfortable for all.

On the driver side door controls for the windows as well as adjusting the mirrors can be found. The mirrors are auto foldable, a very nice feature especially in crowded parking situations.

The spacious glove box has its own cooler for you beverages and food.

The back row gets a centre arm rest that can also hold glasses or cans and other items.

The rear A/C vent is a welcome feature keeping passenger at the back comfortable.

The boot offers ample of space for luggage and is equipped with a light that automatically illuminates the boot when opened.

Safety:

Safety options on the Xcent include front dual airbags, a rear defogger, Anti lock Brake systems, and rear parking sensors with an option of a rear parking camera for visual support.

Engine:

The Xcent comes with a choice of 2 engines. The 1.2 Kappa Dual VTVT Petrol and the 1.1 2nd Gen U2 CRDi Diesel. Both engines are mated to a 5 speed gear box. With the petrol engine on can also opt for a 4 speed automatic transmission.
